Stunning Tanzanite And Diamond Necklace

Available for your consideration is a magnificent tanzanite and diamond necklace and pendant.  Featured is a trillion cut tanzanite topped with 3 round brilliant cut diamonds.  The tanzanite gemstone has a light, moderately strong, bluish violet hue.  It measures approximately 7.5 x 3.1mm deep and has an estimated weight of 1.03 carats.  The round brilliant cut diamonds that are clustered above the tanzanite are approximately 2.0mm each.  Total estimated diamond weight is 0.09 carat.  The average estimated diamond qualities are SI 1-2 clarity and H-I color grade ranges.

This incredible estate piece is 14K yellow gold.  The squared snake neck chain, secured with a lobster claw clasp, weighs 5.39 grams.  The length of the chain is approximately 19.75 inches.  The pendant measures approximately .75” high x .375 wide at the widest point x .25” deep.  The total estimated gold weight of the pendant is 1.94 grams.  Both the chain and pendant were appraised by a GIA-Certified appraiser on June 7, 2001.  At that time, the appraised value of the chain was $160.00.  The appraised value of the pendant was $1,070.00.  The total appraised value for both pieces was $1,230.00.  Since that time, the price of diamonds, colored gemstones and gold has increased considerably.  Accordingly, the chain and pendant are expected to appraise at a higher value than they did in 2001.
