Stunning Tanzanite And Diamond Earrings

Available for your consideration is a magnificent pair of tanzanite and diamond earrings.  Each features a trillion cut tanzanite framed by 15 shimmering round brilliant cut diamonds.  Each tanzanite gemstone has a medium light, very slightly grayish bluish violet hue.  Each measures approximately 7.0mm x 4.31 and 4.19mm deep.  The estimated total weight of both tanzanites is 2.03 carats.  The round brilliant cut diamonds that frame each tanzanite are 1.8mm to 2.00mm. Total estimated diamond weight is 0.90 carats.  The average estimated diamond qualities are SI2 – I1 clarities and H-I-J color grade ranges.

These incredible estate pieces are 14K yellow gold.  The total estimated gold weight is 5.4 grams.  Each earring measures approximately ½” high x ½” wide.  They have a pierced-style back.  The earrings were appraised by a GIA-Certified appraiser on June 6, 2001.  At that time, the appraised value was $2,700.00.  Since that time, the price of diamonds, colored gemstones and gold has increased considerably.  Accordingly, the earrings are expected to appraise at a higher value than they did in 2001.
