Stunning Emerald And Diamond Earrings

Available for your consideration is a magnificent pair of natural Colombian emerald and diamond earrings.  Each earring features an emerald step cut emerald surrounded by 12 round brilliant cut diamonds.  Each emerald gemstone has a medium to strong, bluish green hue.  One emerald measures approximately 5.16mm wide x 5.85mm long x 4.12mm deep.  The other measures approximately 5.3mm wide x 5.6mm long x 4.1mm deep.  The estimated total emerald weight of both emeralds is 1.82 carats.  The round brilliant cut diamonds that frame each emerald are 2.0mm for a total estimated diamond weight is 0.72 carats.  The average estimated diamond qualities are SI2 – I1 clarities and H-I-J color grade ranges.

These incredible estate pieces are 14K yellow gold.  The total estimated gold weight is 3.63 grams.  Each earring measures approximately 3/8” high x 5/16” wide.  They have a pierced-style back.  The earrings were appraised by a GIA-Certified appraiser on June 6, 2001.  At that time, the appraised value was $4,650.00.  Since that time, the price of diamonds, emeralds and gold has increased considerably.  Accordingly, the earrings are expected to appraise at a higher value than they did in 2001.
