Authentic Gucci Vintage Floral Clutch Bag

Available for your consideration is a rare, authentic Gucci Floral Clutch Bag.  The bag was crafted in Italy of Gucci’s signature floral or botanical canvas with white leather trim and polished golden hardware.  It is a 70’s-vintage piece.  Gucci recently reintroduced the Flora line.  Gucci commissioned artist Vittorio Accornero to design the original Flora line.  The vibrant-colored Accornero-designed pattern includes poppies, tiger lilies, iris, morning glories, beetles and more.  The bag is incredibly elegant and highly collectible.

The bag measures approximately 6” high x 9” wide x 2.25” deep.  It opens via two leather pull tabs, one of which is embossed with Gucci’s “GG” logo.  The interior of the bag is lined with white-colored leather.  The bag is in fair to good, pre-worn vintage condition.  There is a mark on the front of the bag that is approximately 3/8” in length.  The back of the bag has a smattering of tiny black marks.  The leather is lightly soiled.  The interior lining is chaffed, lightly soiled and beginning to flake, which is typical of Gucci's vintage interior linings.  The dust cover is no longer available, however the original Controllato tag is still with the bag.
