18k Gold, Diamond And Sapphire Gentleman’s Ring

Available for your consideration is a handsome 18K yellow gold, diamond and sapphire gentleman’s ring.  Featured are eight princess cut diamonds and eight square step cut natural blue sapphires.  The eight princess cut diamonds measure approximately 2.7 mm, average 1.5 carat each, to give an estimated total diamond carat weight of 1.20 carats.  Average estimated diamond qualities are in VVS2 – VS1 clarities, and G – H color grade ranges.  The eight blue sapphires measure approximately 2.5 mm, average 0.13 carat each, to give an estimated total blue sapphire weight of 1.04 carats.  Thorough gemological examination has been conducted to determine the nature and authenticity of these gemstones.  The color is dark, very slightly grayish, bluish violet hue, lightly included and all well matched.  The diamonds alternate with the sapphires to give a unique, checkerboard effect.  Total estimated gold weight is 11.91 grams.  The ring was appraised by a GIA-Certified appraiser on September 3, 2009.  The appraised value is $3,400.00.
